Teacher Creativity Center Concludes Project Citizen Training Workshop with the Ministry of Education
The Teacher Creativity Center concluded a project citizen training workshop with governmental schools in Gaza, funded by Foundation for the Future. The training targeted all educational directorates in the Gaza Strip, and included training the principle and teachers of elementary schools; the training focused on the application of project citizen guidelines, such that it is latter disseminated to students to be applied to problems of their interest, fortifying the continuously sought social responsibility. 
Mr. Talat Bathatho, director of the Teacher Creativity Center in Gaza, clarified that the workshop defined and outlined the aims and mechanisms of the project in general, which aims at actively activating social participation by students and teachers, in addition to disseminating the process to students, such that they will learn conflict resolution policies, monitoring public policy development, developing team-work spirit, developing critical thinking strategies, in addition to communication skills and constructive analysis skills.  
This workshop is part of the preparations of the Teacher Creativity Center to launch the 5th project citizen generation via an expanded meeting with officials in the Ministry of Education in Gaza, in which Bathatho emphasized the pillars and approach of the project; finally, Bathatho confirmed that this year project citizen is adopting a new approach, in which special care is being provided to empowering special needs students and gender equality issues, in addition to pressing educational and environmental issues.
